GRID4EU participated in the conference "future of the grids and grid of the future"
Nice, June 12th, 2015
Following the invitation of ERDF (Electricité Réseau Distribution France) and the MEF (European Movement - France), more than 200 people attended the conference "future of the grids and grid of the future" on June 12th, 2015 in the Stadium Allianz Riviera in Nice.
This conference, addressing the question of the energy transition, gathered the points of view of a large scale of panelists (DSOs, policy makers, regulators, local authorities, researchers and manufacturers) from all around the world (Japan, India, Norway, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, France). As this conference generates momentum on the fight against climate change, this conference has been labelized COP21 (the United Nations Framework Conference on Climate Change).
The conference was opened by Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, Jean-Marie Cavada, president of the European Movement-France and Philippe Monloubou, chairman of ERDF.
